Confronting Racism

Presented by the New England Conference Board of Church and Society and the Methodist Federation for Social Action, this combined Spring Retreat will explore racism through worship and meditation with help from special guest speaker Reverend Kapya Kaoma. Rev Kaoma is the project director at Political Research Associates and author of US Conservatives, African Churches and Homophobia. Gwen White will lead us through a spiritual process in the afternoon contextualizing racism and social justice. A soup lunch will be provided, and a $10.00 offering is suggested and appreciated.
