Wesley UMC > Fellowship > MOPS

What is MOPS?

(Mothers of PreSchoolers) MOPS is an international organization providing small groups designed to support and encourage mothers of children preschool age and younger.

A MOPS group is a place for moms to share joys and struggles and to learn practical ways to raise our children and care for ourselves as God intended. Together we address issues and needs of women and our families covering a wide range of topics.

What do we do?

We begin with refreshments, fellowship and a craft activity, followed by the introduction of a topic of the week. After our speaker presentation we include time for small group discussion, sharing, support and prayer.

Who can join?

MOPS is open to all women, regardless of church affiliation.

What about my other children?

MOPS offers a wonderful program for infants through kindergarteners. Nursery care is provided for the littlest ones. Toddlers on up participate in MOPPETS, a program that includes crafts, music, games, and Bible stories. Childcare is provided at no cost, but space is limited. Children must be registered in advance.

How do I register?

Fill out the MOPS registration form and return it to Wesley United Methodist Church as soon as possible. If would like to enroll your child in our childcare program, please also complete a childcare information form.

What is the cost?

The annual MOPS International fee is $22, and includes weekly e-mails, a monthly magazine, and a free gift.
Registration for the Fall session is $45, and covers the cost of our fabulous childcare program.
Scholarships are available.
